Furniture Budget - How much does it cost?
/How much does it cost to redecorate my….. fill in the blank. I get that question a lot. Trying to figure out a realistic budget for redecorating a room can be pretty confusing for a client who is not in the design biz, most have no idea and I can’t blame them. So, here I am to help with a series of blog posts to break it down room by room, starting with the Living Room.
The chart I put together below is to give you an idea of approximate cost paired with a retailer to give you some context. For instance, you might want to splurge on a $6,000 sofa because you know that’s where your sweet ass will be sitting for the next 10 years, but maybe you don’t want to spend a lot on the side tables or lamps, with this comparison chart you can pick and choose how you want to plan your budget.
Also, keep in mind the window covering budget really depends on the condition and quantity of your windows. So if your not buying from blinds-to-go, make sure you get a quote from a few different custom fabricators and factor that into your budget.
