Create a cozy contemplative corner

I think every home should have a cozy nook area to relax, read, meditate, have a cup of tea, chill out on a cold day and wrap in a warm blanket while reading a good novel. A place to get away and decompress after a long day of work. It doesn’t have to be expensive and it doesn’t have to be big, just a small corner is sufficient. Buy some pillows, bean bag chair, little rug (faux sheepskin rugs are pretty inexpensive and you can get them at any of the big retailers). Add aromatherapy, like candles or an incense burner to wind down at the end of the day. Having some plants in the space brings nature inside and boosts your mood. A cozy throw blanket is always delicious, I’m obsessed with the one from the Citizenry. Here are some lovely examples that might inspire you to create your contemplative space. Namaste Bitches.
